A TREE GROWS IN ROCHESTER POST 2021-05

Hello Daisy List Readers,

Calling all the members of the NUNES family from Rochester, Mass.

Hello, my name is Diane Fonseca and this post is about tracking down all of my relatives for a FAMILY TREE project I’m trying to put together.

This picture is of my late grandparents on my mother’s side.  They are from the Cape Verde isles and lived in Rochester, Mass.

Recently I became part of the social media world, and every time I log on, I see someone that I believe is family.  And yet many of them don’t know each other.  I’ve been attempting to put together a family tree for quite some time now and since being on social media, I think I’m related to half the population out there.

It was and is a Big family, I believe my grandparents had as many as 12 or 13 children.  I’ve reached out to many of my 1st cousins that I know first-hand, but now I find out I have literally hundreds of 2nd and 3rd cousins.

The thing that impresses me the most is that so many of you (us) are seriously talented. I think it would be a blast for all of us to get to know each other on a first-hand basis.

I would LOVE to restart working on a family tree with any and all of you other there, and maybe eventually a HUGH family reunion in Mass.  I know some of you have also started a TREE, maybe we can combine efforts.

Let me know what you think.

Some of us had started working on a tree just before COVID-19, but we never got too far.

Shout out to David, Linda, Baby, Zita, Lisa, and Meci and a few others that I can’t remember the names of.  Thank you for the help so far.  I’m hoping this time will be different.

So, if you’re interested, please contact me and with the help of some others, I will get things rolling again.

I do have other pictures, some in very bad shape because of water damage, but I will post as many as I can and I will copy and share any and all.

I’d be so happy to hear from any of you.  I’m sure it will be a lot of work, but I hope a lot of fun also, especially for our children.
