ELITE COLLABORATIONS – STYLETAINMENT & WOMEN IN MEDIA – NEWARK

A few months ago, I was introduced to yet another survivor named Pamela Morgan, Director of the Woman in Media -Newark.  We spoke briefly and she invited me to attend the 10th Annual Anniversary of the WiM-Newark Film Festival.

Pam actually founded the Film Festival program on her own and it has worked it up to the status it now holds.  It involves Women in Media from around the World.

Collaborating for me means bringing together like-minded individuals committed to their Dreams.  People with a mission and a Purpose.  I felt Pam and Missouri were two such people, both of which had a similar mission and Purpose.

The Film Festival event was EXACTLY about that.  Women in Media is a community of people from all over the World working to make a difference in other peoples’ lives.

As it turned out, Missouri connected with so many people interested in taking a version of her show to all parts of the World.  More to come on that later, I will keep you informed.

Missouri and I both met such a wide range of people, but here’s the amazing part.  Every 3rd person we met was either a cancer survivor, or had a family member or friend that was a survivor.

Talk about 3 Degrees of separation! WOW!

So many resonated with Missouri’s story.  The shear fact that she could build something so beautiful and entertaining from such a devastating experience is a true test of creativity and courage.

These are the types of Collaborations I want for Daisy List.

All of us supporting one another, showing the World that cancer survivor’s can not only overcome this monster, but wonderful things can come out on the other side
