October 2017 BLOG BLAST POST 17

header-october-2017

Hello My Happy Daisy List Readers,

I’m back.  I’ve been AWOL for a minute, making the most of such a fun filled summer.  This has been my first “monster free” summer in a few years.  No chemo, no radiation no scans and tests, no blood clots, no fatigue, no daily needles, etc., etc., etc.!!!

As I navigate this new dynamic world of Blogging, the feedback I’m getting is a little demanding. There has been a major cry from my readers for more consistency, “keep the posts coming.”  I’ve been told I need to pick up the speed of the Journey and pick up the frequency of my posts.

I apologize for the lag, I will do better.

So the NEW PLAN is to treat the BLOG in 4 phases

Each post has required so much work, so much learning, so much going on, so much to tell and so much to do.  Over the next month or so, I plan to publish between 5 to10 posts to bring us up to a current status and the end of the TAZ JOURNEY.  Hooray, Hooray, Hooray!

Once that part of the Journey has been completed, then I will officially start Phase 2.  Although I’ve enjoyed the summer, and lagged behind on posting the Journey, I’ve also been working feverishly on things I’m doing for the Give Back phase.  Here’s a brief outline of the NEW PLAN.

Phase 1 My TAZ JOURNEY

Phase 1 is coming to a conclusion.  My TAZ journey was difficult but it’s behind me now and I’m grateful for the lessons it’s taught me and the unexpected Gifts it has brought me.

“the Lord blesses us with beautiful gifts, only

sometimes they come in ugly wrapping.”

Don’t let the wrapping fool you, open every gift box and every door, because you never know what you’ll find and where it will lead you.

Phase 2 –   The GIVE BACK

I’m sure the Give Back phase will bring me a million more challenges then Phase 1.  Writing about my journey has been cathartic for me. Now I have to apply myself to making a commitment to help others.  It’s time to take the spot light off of me and focus on other people dealing with Mr. Taz that are in need of resources, support and caring.

This new goal is simple:

“PAY IT FORWARD”        “BE KIND”

I have a clear vision of the “WHAT” I have to do, I just haven’t figured out the “HOW”

I do know this though, after searching for my Purpose all these years, it took a personal tsunami to make it perfectly clear what that Purpose is.  I am so grateful for that.

I plan to turn Daisy List into a platform and a vehicle:

I’m working on a product line that I will use to raise money for specific local causes by

partnering with certain cancer groups and organizations, and established fund raisers.

Lots of work, but I feel committed and up to the challenge.

Phase 3 – the NEWSLETTER

The next step is to start a Newsletter with meaningful content that will help individuals find resources and support, be informed of special events, be directed to new research, and so many other relative topics.  I will look to my readers for positive input, it would be awesome to share useful information.

Phase 4 – the APP

This phase is in the beginning stages, I have so many ideas about how to turn the Daisy List into an interesting APP.  This phase will be a different kind of Journey and I hope you go along for the ride.   The sky is the limit, so THINK BIG, DREAM BIG!!

Stay tuned for Posts 18 and 19 coming soon and more will follow with greater frequency.
